Let us be clear up front, because this matters.
Volunteer Septic Pros is a directory and listing service. We are not a septic company.
We do not employ technicians. We do not pump tanks, repair drain fields, or install systems, and we do not hold a septic license or permit. What we do is keep an organized, browsable list of septic service companies working in this part of East Tennessee, so a homeowner with a full tank or a failing field can find who serves their county without wading through national lead generation websites.
Volunteer Septic Pros is run locally, based in Anderson County, Tennessee. The directory covers Anderson, Campbell, Union, and northern Knox counties, with extended coverage listings for Scott and Roane counties.
Why This Site Exists
Most septic searches online lead to national middleman sites. You fill out a form, your phone number gets passed around, and you still do not know which companies actually work in your county. Meanwhile, plenty of good local companies have no real website and are hard to find.
This directory is the plain alternative: an open list you can read, organized by county and by service, with phone numbers shown up front. No form required. No charge to look.
How Listings Work
- Basic listings are free for businesses.
- Listing information comes from public sources, such as state permit rosters and the businesses themselves, and from updates businesses send us.
- Each listing shows the business name, phone, website, services, counties served, and TDEC permit number where one has been provided.
- A listing is not an endorsement. We do not verify quality, and we do not guarantee any company’s work, pricing, or availability.
Homeowners should do the same checks they would do anywhere: confirm the company’s TDEC permit, ask what the job includes, and get the price in writing before work begins.
How This Site Makes Money
We want to be honest about this too. The directory is free for homeowners and free for a basic business listing. In the future, businesses may be able to pay for featured placement, clearly marked as featured, to appear more prominently. Featured placement would be advertising, not a quality ranking, and we will label it that way if and when it exists.
For Septic Companies
- Get listed: If you serve Anderson, Campbell, Union, northern Knox, Scott, or Roane county and are not listed, send us your business name, phone, website, services, counties served, and TDEC permit number.
- Fix a listing: Wrong phone number, changed services, closed business? Tell us and we will update or remove it.
- Remove a listing: If you do not want to be listed, contact us and we will take it down.

For questions about a specific job, a price, or scheduling, contact the company directly. We cannot quote septic work, because we do not do septic work.
If you would rather make one call and be connected with a provider instead of browsing a list, our sister service at volunteerseptic.com can help with that.
